Central France tourist attractions. The Indre is in the Centre Region. It's capital is Chateauroux. Here is a selection of some tourist attractions worth a visit. More info on this page coming soon.

BANANAPARC - ORSENNES FAMILY FUN DAY OUT

 

BANANAPARC is a family day out in the South Indre - just 40 minutes south of Chateauroux and 6 minutes drive away from the Eguzon Barrage.

Spend the day with your family enjoying the facilities on the edge of the Orsennes lake.

You will find:

  • An adventure trail including

  • THE JUNGLE: A 22m course with tunnel, climbing, slides etc
    Titanic: A giant slide 10m high
    Aquarium: Dive into a ball pit
    The secret garden: space for toddlers

  • Canoeing on the lake

  • Five ponies (némo, kokin, okapi, tina and caramiel) await you for a stroll around the pond. Dad or Mum accompany the child so that everyone goes at its own pace.

  • Free swimming pool for all 20 x 10 m (children are accompanied and bathe under the responsibility of parents)

  • A quad bike circuit - suitable from 4 years to 12 years

  • Solarium wood for tanning and relaxation with mini-bar for drinks.

  • Petanque pitch

  • Fishing in the pond: Carp, roach, perch (maps for sale at the bar)

  • A snack-bar with a choice of grilles and fresh salads

  • 2 bars, with outside terrace (heated in the winter)

  • A function room for hire, suitable for reunions, parties, banquest or seminars
