charming, beautifully decorated holiday cottage in the heart of
Central France countryside. The perfect place for a quiet country
break.
This is a family home that is
vacated during certain times of the year and is available for
holiday rentals, so it is a real home from home experience.
Accommodation:
A spacious double bedroom with
character beams and two large windows letting in the morning
sunshine. Drawers and cupboards for clothes storage, 2 bedside
tables with lamps. Small TV screen and video player.
 Large living room with French TV,
Video and DVD player (with plenty of films to watch).
Dining area, large coffee table.
Radio cassette player and portable CD
player.
Log burning stove.
 A
small but well equipped kitchen - washing machine, dishwasher,
double sink, toaster, electric oven, kettle - and a vast selection
of pots, pans and cooking things.
Fridge is in the porch.
 Shower
room - large shower with sink. Electric heater.
All bath towels, shower mats and hand
towels are provided.
You may want to bring beach towels for
swimming and at the lake-beach.
Separate WC.
Outside
- to the rear is a pretty and enclosed private garden, planted with
lavenders, rosemary and other scented herbs and plants.
 From
here you can see the superb views and sunsets.
There is a
covered terrace area as well.
At the front there is a spacious
courtyard (where you can park your car). There are two seating areas
here. You also have use of the shared "play garden" with pool, sun-lounger
area, gazebo and use of BBQ.
We have green lane walks direct from
the door.
The Local
Area - there is much to see and do - chateaux and
gardens, swimming lakes, good walking and cycling country, medieval
market towns, excellent local restaurants and much more.
Cost:
£270 a week - arrival and
departure days flexible. Extra nights bookable at £30 per night. You
will be provided with a welcome basket of some fresh vegetables (in
season) from the garden, bread and a bottle of wine.
There are seasonings, cooking oil,
toilet rolls, kitchen towels and cleaning materials.
We ask for a £50 security deposit
which will be returned (or cheque destroyed) after your holiday if
there are no damage/breakages.
30% non-refundable deposit payable at
time of booking.
